Welcome to the Black Box fortnightly update. It is our goal to keep the delegation process as transparent as possible, and keep all delegators up to date with the latest news and events.
Firstly, thank you for your continued support! Black Box is now up to a total of 48 delegators. We’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new delegators!
Recently the volatility in the cryptocurrency market has tapered off in proportion to the reduction of negative press. It is encouraging to see the resilience of Cardano ADA in comparison to other blockchain projects. ADA is still in a strong uptrend indicated by trading above the 9, 20, 50 and 100 Exponential Moving Averages (EMA). There is price resistance above $1.80USD, and a break above $1.80 would see ADA once again test the $2.00 level.
Cardano’s Alzono smart contract test-net will has recently launched and testing has began on the Hard Fork Combinator event (HFC). Smart contracts are a big piece of the puzzle for Cardano’s development roadmap. Smart contracts will allow Cardano to compete directly with the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum. Cardano has also developed an ERC20 converter which will allow developers who currently use Ethereum to easily move across to Cardano.
Black Box has been consistently producing blocks on the Cardano blockchain network, therefore we have been paying rewards to delegators every 5 days. We have so far produced 66 blocks on the network and we have more scheduled every day.
Black Box is proud to announce the following results for Epoch 269:
18.93M ADA Stake
$95 Donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service
A quick reminder that our delegator referral scheme is still running, so if you know of anyone interested in staking Cardano with Black Box send them our way!
We hope this update has given you an insight into the work going on behind the scenes, as well as the performance of the pool so far.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Kind regards, Shane Severn
