Fortnightly Update

Welcome to the Black Box fortnightly update. It is our goal to keep the delegation process as transparent as possible, and keep all delegators up to date with the latest news and events.

The cryptocurrency market has recently been in an uptrend as Bitcoin creeps back towards the key psychological level of $50,000USD. Positive sentiment has returned to the wider market, and with that comes the influx of retail investors. Cardano has been posting new All-Time-Highs (ATH) on what seems to be a daily basis. As I am writing this Cardano (ADA) is currently being traded for over $2.70USD, and is now the world’s third largest cryptocurrency by market cap. This is new territory for ADA as it has never traded so high, an exciting time for all holders! Congratulations to everyone who did their own research and took a risk on what could potentially redefine the global financial system.

It has been announced that the Alonzo Hard Fork Combinator (HFC) event will take place on the 12th of September 2021. This will usher in a new era for Cardano and allow programmability on a decentralised immutable ledger on an international scale. Cardano currently has the advantage over Ethereum as a Proof-of-Stake (POS) protocol with significantly lower fees. We’ll soon see the adoption of Cardano as a utility in the billion dollar decentralised finance and peer-to-peer lending world.

Black Box has been consistently producing blocks on the Cardano blockchain network, therefore, we have been paying rewards to delegators every 5 days.

Black Box is proud to announce the following results for Epoch 285:

  • 100% Reliability

  • 4/4 Blocks

  • 3.8M ADA Stake

  • 4.96% ROS

  • $140 Donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation

A quick reminder that our delegator referral scheme is still running, so if you know of anyone interested in staking Cardano with Black Box send them our way! We would also appreciate it if you liked and followed our social media profiles to help increase our organic reach - links are below.

Black Box has social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. If you are able to like and follow these profiles it would be greatly appreciated.

We hope this update has given you an insight into the work going on behind the scenes, as well as the performance of the pool so far.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact.

Kind regards, Shane Severn
