Welcome to the Black Box fortnightly update. It is our goal to keep the delegation process as transparent as possible, and keep all delegators up to date with the latest news and events.
The cryptocurrency market has recently cooled off slightly as opportunistic traders take advantage of major events such as El Salvador officially adopting Bitcoin as legal tender on the 8th of September. As well as the Alonzo Hard Fork event on the 12th of September that ushered in the smart contract era for Cardano. These are major events that traders love to use as a catalyst to create volatility in the market. As the age old adage goes, “buy the rumour, sell the news”.
Cardano is showing support and buying pressure in the $2.00-$2.20USD region, a break below $2.00 would most likely see a pull back to $1.50-$1.80. However, the Cardano Summit is slated for this weekend and major partnerships between Cardano and Fortune 500 companies are anticipated to be announced. Please see the below Tweet from Sidney Vollmer (Cardano Foundation).

The Alonzo Hard Fork Combinator (HFC) successfully took place on the 12th of September 2021. This has introduced a new era for Cardano by allow programmability on a decentralised immutable ledger on an international scale. Cardano currently has the advantage over Ethereum as a Proof-of-Stake (POS) protocol with significantly lower fees. We’ll soon see the adoption of Cardano as a utility in the billion dollar decentralised finance and peer-to-peer lending world. Some early projects showing promise include SundaeSwap, ADAX and MinSwap.
Black Box has been consistently producing blocks on the Cardano blockchain network, therefore, we have been paying rewards to delegators every 5 days.
Black Box is proud to announce the following results for Epoch 288:
3.8M ADA Stake
$120 Donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation
A quick reminder that our delegator referral scheme is still running, so if you know of anyone interested in staking Cardano with Black Box send them our way! We would also appreciate it if you liked and followed our social media profiles to help increase our organic reach - links are below.
We hope this update has given you an insight into the work going on behind the scenes, as well as the performance of the pool so far.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Kind regards, Shane Severn
